“We like the fact that the Motley was close to a lot of the places that we wanted to go to and had easy access in and out of the city. In addition to that there are some great wine bars in Richmond so we would highly recommend this as a place to stay”

“Staff were excellent. Late check in and all very smooth. Room pretty dark and smelt a bit of stale smoke. But all clean and basic amenities”

“Place was near the station which was very convenient. Rooms are quite dated but with what you pay for it is really not bad at all. Staff was very nice. Toilets unfortunately always had pee on them when I stayed there. Does tend to get noisy with all the cars if your room is next to a road. Also have to give a deposit for a key which isn't the best for a solo female traveller.”

“The motel is what it is. It is an affordable option in a good location on the edge of the city. The room showed wear and tear, it isn't pretty, it is basic, there is road and train noise at night BUT if you're wanting an affordable stay very close to the city and don't intend to spend much time in your room during the day and the above issues don't matter to you then this place is fine for a couple of nights.
